Today, it's known that the Chinese market, which constitutes an important part of the outbound tourism market and is constantly growing, has an important potential in terms of reviving the tourism sector of many countries and increasing foreign currency inflow to the country. For this reason, it is important to analyze and understand the profiles of Chinese tourists well in order to gain lion share from this market. In this context, the main purpose of this study is to determine the profile and travel behavior of Chinese tourists who visit Turkey. For this purpose, a total of 790 valid survey data were collected using two different survey methods. Research results indicate that majority of respondents were highly educated, have the middle and upper income, were female, married and come to Turkey for the first time. Moreover, research result revealed that three most important tourism motivations were entertainment, relaxation and learning novel things.
