Özet: The main subject of this article is an evaluation of Russia’s and Turkey’s contribution to the global information flow, as new leading players in international news broadcasting and opposing voices to dominant Western countries. In the study, CNN International has been selected to represent the former dominants of the global information flow, and Russia Today and TRT World as the new players, and the representation of an international event by these broadcasters was studied comparatively. For this purpose, the events that emerged after the United States’ move of its Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, were selected and the representation of these events on CNN International, Russia Today, and TRT World’s websites was analyzed with quantitative and qualitative content analysis. According to the results of the research, it was determined that CNN International broadcasts pro-Israel, while Russia Today and TRT World are most likely pro-Palestinian. İt has been revealed that while CNN International is trying to soften the violence used by Israel against Palestinians in its news, TRT World conveyed the pain of the Palestinians, and Russia Today questioned the Western countries’ responsibility for the events.
