Özet: The aim of this study is to examine the level of inclusion of child rights in illustrated children's books. Document Analysis was used in this study. Totally 64 illustrated children books were selected via purposeful sampling methods by selecting the first 5-15 books that were sold online in 2019 in Turkey (Kitapyurdu, D& R, BKM) considering most preferred publishers of illustrated children books (Can Çocuk, Yapi Kredi, İş Bankası, Redhose Kidz, 1001 Çiçek, Hep Kitap, Beta Kids). The books were analyzed by descriptive analysis. In this study where the main theme was determined as child rights; sub-themes were determined as the right to life, development, protection and participation. These themes (Karaman Kepenekci and Aslan (2011) were arranged considering the framework determined in their study. Totally 1063 sentences regarding rights were identified in 64 books investigated. 700 of these sentences were regarding participation, 182 were survival, 142 were development and 39 were protection. In this study, it was determined that expressions about participation and life rights of children are more included in illustrated children's books on the other hand expressions about developmental and protection rights were included less. As a result of this research, it was determined that rights were included at different levels in the books.
