Özet: In this study, phenomenon of Euro-centrism and concept of historiography are examined. Both concepts are explained specific to non-European cultures. A European-centrist historiography can lead to false as people and societies that are non-European misunderstand the world and themselves, and they are in the wrong. The genealogy of Euro-centrism can be traced back to the birth of modern culture, and it can be said that the historiography debates have been also interested in this phenomenon since the second half of the twentieth century. Philosophy of historiography is concerned with the annexing of process of interpretation to the historical facts and concerned with how much of the narrative can be known from the past. Historiography dominating the world is European-centrist and recently American-centrist. After a phase, the deadlock of Euro-centrism can only remain the problem of non-Europeans. This study deals exclusively with this issue and strives to find a theoretical solution.
