Özet: In this study, it is aimed to investigate the multiple intelligence areas and problem solving skills of high school students and to compare the students in sports high schools and fine arts high schools accordingly. The universe of the research consists of a total of 447 students, including 204 students from Şanlıurfa Sports High School and 243 students from Kazancı Bedih Fine Arts High School. The sample of the study consists of a total of 347 students, including 155 sports high schools and 192 fine arts high schools. Personal Information Form, Problem Solving Inventory and Multiple Intelligences Scale were used to collect research data. In order to determine the distributions according to demographic variables, frequency (f) and percentages (%) were calculated. Item totals and averages of the dimensions of the scales were found. Means and standard deviations were calculated. Independent sample t-test and one-way variance (anova) analyzes were conducted to determine whether the Problem Solving Inventory and Multiple Intelligence levels vary according to demographic variables. As a result of the research, it was determined that students' multiple intelligence levels had an effect on their problem solving skills.
