Özet: The purpose of this study is to review the relationship of taekwondo athletes competing in the adult category with their coaches. For this purpose, athletes competing in the major taekwondo competition in Turkey have created the universe of the study. The sample group of this study has created 98 men and 102 female athletes who are willing to participate in the study. In the analysis and interpretation of the data, the points distributions of the measuring tools were determined using the descriptive statistics. Shapiro – Wilk normality test was conducted to examine the normality of all data. For data that does not show normal distribution with “paired samples t-test” for normal dispersion variables, it was determined by “Wilcoxon”. Intergroup differences; “Independent Samples T-Test” if data distribution is normal data. According to the results of the research, the relationships of taekwondo athletes with their trainers were examined according to some variables. A significant difference was found in the coaching relationships of Taekwondo athletes according to gender, age, sports age, nationality status (p <0.05).
