Özet: In this study, the effect of 8-week special training applied to 25 police officers working in various branches at Mardin Artuklu District Police Department on the directional speed and agility parameters was investigated. Hexagonal test, side shifting test, illinois test and t-drill test techniques were used to collect the data. After determining the age, height and body weights of the participants, pretests were performed. After applying various pliometric and directional running training protocols for 8 weeks, post-test measurements were made. Statistical significance was determined between the first and last test values of the participants' hexagonal, illinois and t-drill tests. There was no significant difference between the first and last test values of the side shifting test. As a result; It has been determined that the 8-week special training program applied to the police officers has an impact on the selected physical performance parameters.
