Özet: Mulberry, which has many species and areas of use, is a species that has been used in our Turkey for many years with its organs such as; fruit, leaves, timber, shells, and tree. Turkey is one of the few countries in the world that especially cultivates mulberry as fruit. In addition, in recent years, with a noticing of the significance of its healthy nutrition, organic farming, and its phenolic compounds, the mulberry has reached a different place among the fruits. This study was carried out in 2013 and 2015 in Erzincan center, Kemah, Kemaliye and Üzümlü districts and their villages to select and identify mulberry (Morus spp.) genotypes suitable for specific breeding purposes in order to release a variety. Genotypes suitable for use in table, dried and molasses in the study were subjected to weighted-ranked score (WR) and selected for breeding purpose). Efficiency in fruit drying, fruit size, fruit dry color, dry yield, yield in table, fruit size, SSC, taste and aroma, yield in molasses, taste-aroma, juice yield, and SSC is considered as the breeding criteria in weighted-ranked score. In studuy, as a result of the evaluations of a total of 65 genotypes, 7 for tables, 10 for dried, and 8 for molasses were found to be promising genotypes. It was observed that one is purple-red berry (Morus rubra L.), two is black mulberry (Morus nigra L.) and the others are white mulberry (Morus alba L.) among the selected genotypes.
