Özet: In this study, the risk factors in the working environment were evaluated at the fisherman port, which has a capacity of 250 boats. Fisherman port is the main fishing area in İzmir. Purse-seine and trawl vessels, small-scale fishing boats and yachts are anchored at the fishing port. The problems in the port determined by the environmental surveillance and interviews are listed as follows: general problems (working area and layout), environmental conditions in terms of health and hygiene, environmental pollution factors, deficiencies in the use of personal protective equipment, flammable and explosive substances and hazard areas, fire and extinguishing systems, material cabinets, warehouses and infrastructure. In the study, suggestions for solutions to the problems identified were also discussed.
