Özet: In this research, it is aimed to examine the technologies used in the 21st Century Summer Olympic Games. The case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. In the process of data analysis, document analysis method was used. By analyzing the official Olympic reports of Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) between 2000 and 2020, it was tried to provide documents in accordance with the purpose of the research. As a result of the examination; As of the date of the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games, it is a period when technology is just beginning to develop. The use of technology in the Athens 2004 Summer Olympic Games has been studied within the information technology, telecommunications, energy and space technology divisions, and there is a noticeable increase compared to the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games. With the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games, the concept of "High Technology Olympics" emerges. The Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games Main Press Center was the largest of its kind in the history of the Olympic Games. After the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, it is seen that the use of technology has increased rapidly and the technological tools used have diversified.
