Özet: Aim: This study was directed towards reviewing postgraduate dissertations about children diagnosed as epilepsy between the ages of zero and eighteen years. Methods: The study, using the survey method, included postgraduate dissertations conducted between 2009 and 2019. Data obtained from the dissertations through the survey model were analyzed with the content analysis and classified into categories. The dissertations in each category were examined in terms of the year when they were published, methodology and obtained findings. The results were explained in accordance with their importance. Findings: A total of 55 dissertations have been performed in the last 10 years; of 55 dissertations, medical doctors performed 41, MSc students performed 13 and two were performed by PhD students. Of all these studies, 43 used the survey method, nine had an experimental design and three were longitudinal. Of all the dissertations, thirteen were about problems due to epilepsy and the quality of life, six were about effects of provision of information and education about the disease, three were about risk factors, ten were about stages of epilepsy and characteristics of epileptic patients, six were about physiology, seven were about biochemical and genetic features of the disease and ten were about effects and effectiveness of treatment methods. Conclusion: The most frequently used research design is the survey model and most of the studies are about problems due to epilepsy and the quality of life. There have been very few studies about interventions in epileptic children, patient education and risk factors.
