Özet: The aim of this study is to determine the level of teachers' awareness of the curriculum. The sample of this study, which is designed by scanning model, one of the quantitative research methods, consists of 417 teachers working in the city center and districts of Siirt. In the research, "Curriculum Awareness Scale (CAS)" was used as a data collection tool. Independent samples T Test and One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for data analysis; Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis H Test were used among nonparametric tests. As a result of the research, it was determined that the cognitive, affective and psychomotor awareness of the teachers about the curriculum did not show a statistically significant difference according to their gender, branches, educational status, education level and titles. On the other hand, it was found that the cognitive and affective awareness of teachers in the curriculum differed statistically according to their seniority, and cognitive and affective awareness levels increased as the seniority period increased. In addition, a statistically significant difference was found between the teachers' cognitive, affective and psychomotor awareness of the curriculum and the type of faculty they graduated from and the type of school they work in. According to the results, it was observed that teachers who graduated from education faculties had higher cognitive, affective and psychomotor awareness of the curriculum compared to teachers working in private schools compared to teachers working in public schools. Considering the general state of awareness of the teachers participating in the study towards the curriculum, it was concluded that the teachers' awareness in both general and sub-dimensions (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) was high.
