Özet: Through reflection of the historical experience of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, this paper aims to determine the knowledge-based model of Salah al-Din to liberate the Holy Land from the Crusader occupation and define it. This will aid in understanding and interpreting the present, foreseeing the future and directing what will happen in the region in the coming years, and influencing the course of ideas and events related to Bayt al-Maqdis, particularly in these circumstances that West Asia is going through. Through providing an analytical tool to understand, interpret, realise and direct our contemporary realities, and provide an important contribution to knowledge to lead the change, liberation and civilisation. Thus, through introducing this knowledge-based model the paper aims to stir up stagnant waters, perhaps resulting in a movement to create a strategic plan for the next liberation. In other words, to contribute to the making of future history, at a time when the issue of Bayt al-Maqdis is exposed to a violent clash of civilisation, and the most dangerous scheme in its modern history. This scheme comes especially after the failure of the first wave of change in the region, and in preparation for the second wave. Through the use of the knowledge-based model as an analytical tool to understand, interpret, realise and direct our contemporary reality, the paper concludes with three central points that will help in foreseeing and directing the future, and presenting a road map for the future liberation. It also identified three main steps that must be taken for the success of this process at the level of peoples, societies, movements and the Ummah.
