Özet: Everyone can be influenced by different elements when it comes to developing action against unethical behaviors in the organization they work for. In addition, each sector and generation have its own characteristics. This study primarily aims to determine whether there is a difference in the perceptions of employees in various positions (employee, lower level man-ager, middle and senior manager) of the Gen X, Y and Z in the hospitality sector. For this purpose, a conceptual framework has been drawn for legitimate whistleblowing behavior and generations and then differences have been determined with the data obtained from employees of Gen X, Y and Z working in the hospitality sector. The population of the research consists of the employees of 5-star hotels operating in Manavgat Antalya region. The scale developed by Park et al. (2008) was used in the study. The data obtained from 328 participants were analyzed and the results were evaluated. As a result of the factor analysis applied on the whistleblowing behavior scale, six factors (internal legitimate whistleblowing, external legitimate whistleblowing, open identitiy legitimate whistleblowing, hidden identitiy legitimate whistleblowing, formal legitimate whistleblowing, informal legitimate whistleblowing) were obtained. Consequently, there was a significant difference between generations and legitimate whistleblowing subfactors ‘open identitiy legitimate whistleblowing, hidden identitiy legitimate whistleblowing, informal legitimate whistleblowing’, there was a significant difference between the positions of employees in the and all subdimensions of legitimate whistleblowing.
