Özet: In this review of literature which deals with tourism-innovation relationship, it was aimed to determine the main characteristics of the national studies on the issue. 143 papers were published between 2006 and 2018 and related to this issue were reached. The articles from the national journals and the theses on tourism and innovation which are allowed to full-text access at the Databases of National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education were included in the study. The studies under investigation were grouped under the categories of individual, business, country, and innovation types. The results of the study reveal that the tourism-innovation relationship studies generally focus on the effects of studies on the performances of businesses, business managers' perceptions of novelty innovation in SMEs, the role of innovation in businesses, innovation-sustainability relationship, individual innovativeness, business managers' understanding and perception of innovation, technological innovation in tourism, innovation in cities, the relationship between innovation costs and tourism incomes, service innovation, and innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism.
