Özet: Individuals who take part in life and want to be more active at all times tend to constantly acquire new information. Today's possibilities develop in a way that supports these requests. The books used as basic material in education processes underwent changes and took the digital format away from the printed document format. In this study, students’ intentions to use interactive electronic books prepared for the students of Open Education Faculty, Atatürk University were examined. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model of Davis (1989), a research model was tested using structural equation modeling. Technology Acceptance Model of Davis was expanded in line with the needs of the students and the effects of the factors that can affect the acceptance of use were analyzed. In addition to the original model of Davis (1989), the variables of individual mobility, innovativeness and haptic dissonance were also analyzed in the study. The results showed that the learners’ intention to use interactive e-books was negatively affected by haptic dissonance. It was observed that innovativeness and individual mobility positively affect the intention to accept using them.
