Özet: There are several reasons the basis of the vandalism action as well as the results it gives. In this study, the vandalism actions carried out in the Gallipoli Historical Area and the causes and consequences of these actions are revealed. The research area of historical and cultural areas in the Historical Area has been accepted and investigations have been made in the landscape equipment elements in these areas. 16 historical places open to visitors and 2 historical places closed to visitors were determined as research areas. As a result of the observations; In the areas where the visitors are in intensive use, the variety and excess of the landscape equipment elements draw attention. It has been observed that these equipment elements have been damaged due to intensive use. When the damages given to the landscape equipment elements in the Historical Area are examined; these are classified as objects such as sculptures, inscriptions, tombstones, seating elements, restraints, lighting elements, floor coverings and curbs blockers and vegetable materials. After the determined vandalism actions were revealed, the reasons of these vandalisms were examined according to the classification system of R. F. Thaw and V. M. Weinmayr and spatial suggestions were provided to prevent vandalism actions carried out in the area.
