Özet: Turkey has reached a foreign trade volume of 390 billion dollars in 2017 by realizing a 800 million dollars import in response to an export of 157 billion dollars. Following İstanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, İzmir, Ankara, Gaziantep and Sakarya, the eighth city who has the biggest foreign trade volume has been Manisa. In this study, the foreign trade of Manisa has been analysed extensively. In this scope, information regarding the development of the foreign trade volume of the city, the foreign trade countries and the foreign trade product groups sectoral compound have been given. While the export is conducted to many countries leading of which are Germany, England and Poland; the import takes place from countries such as Germany, Poland and Italy. The most frequently sent products to the international market are machine, TV, plastic, olive, chicken products, automotive products and iron-steel; and machine, plastic, iron-steel, optical clocks and means of transportation are the leading imported products. In the study, suggestions concerning the increase of export and attracting the intention of international investors to Manisa- one of the most important trade centres of Anatolia-have been made.
