Özet: The Meriç River is an important river with its characteristic of forming a border between Turkey and Greece. In this study; In the section of Meriç River from Kapıkule (Edirne city) to the delta, analyzes were made to determine the bed changes taking place between the years 1947-2019 by using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (UA) technologies. Satellite images and maps in different dates are used as data sources. The analyzes were carried out with ArcGIS Desktop 10.5 and Erdas 9.2 software. It was determined that significant bed changes were observed in the studied part of the Meriç River between 1947-1975 years. According to the data after 1975, it was determined that bed change slowed down. The change difference between 2009 and 2018 is almost non-existent.
