Lymphangioma of the tongue- a rare case report and review of the literature

Özet: Lymphangiomas are considered as hamartomas of the lymphatic system. These malformations are rather infrequent and generally detected either at infancy or at early childhood, rarely in adults. They are commonly seen in head and neck region and rarely in the oral cavity. Here, we report a case of lymphangioma of tongue in a 70 year old male and review its clinical, histopathological features and treatment modalities.
