Özet: The studies carried out to prevent the rapid decrease of water resources due to factors such as global warming, rapid population growth, and faulty irrigation methods have aimed to develop projects for the principle of best irrigation with the least use of water in the discipline of landscape architecture. In this context, the irrigation system of Nevzat Biçer Park in the Cumhuriyet Mahallesi of Aydın province was examined in line with the aforementioned principle and the findings obtained were the subject of this study. In the study, issues such as climate, soil used in the park, landscape elements, water demand of plants were examined and the problems in the system were tried to be determined. As a result of the evaluations, solution suggestions were presented for problems such as incompatibility between landscape elements and climatic conditions, design and planning errors, faulty irrigation technique, insufficient irrigation system.
