Özet: This article explores the disillusionment of the American minorities in their pursuit of the American Dream in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men during the Great Depression. Among these minorities, one mentions migrant workers, blacks, women, disabled, and old people. The latter are prevented from achieving their dreams during the Great Depression in the sense that they are always victim of discrimination and other social injustices.
