Özet: This study aims to determine the effect of assertiveness and empathy on students' prosocial behavior at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University. This study uses quantitative methods using multiple regression analysis to determine how much influence and predictive ability the two independent variables have on the dependent variable. In this study, the subjects in this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University, using the accidental sampling method. Data collection methods used include assertiveness, empathy, and prosocial behavior scales. The collected data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 21.0 for the windows program. These results indicate a significant difference between assertiveness and empathy to prosocial behavior.
