Özet: Open data means data that can be used, reused and distributed freely and freely by anyone, without any copyright, patent or other control mechanism. It is thought that open data used in many fields such as public, agriculture and health can be used in the tourism industry. It is anticipated that the use of open data in the tourism industry, which has become an information-intensive industry, will benefit the strategies to be developed in Tourism X.0 period. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to obtain theoretical results on how open data ideology can be used in Tourism X.0 strategies by using secondary data obtained as a result of literature review. In the study, firstly, the development of the concept of open data is discussed, the place of open data in the tourism industry is discussed, and suggestions are made for the areas where open data ideology will be used for strategy development in Tourism X.0 period.
