Özet: The solution to the problems posed in Harold Pinter's dramaturgy is important not only for the British nation but for all mankind. The adversary dealings between people, the dynamics of events, and unusual results, the combination of scary and funny motives, all lead to the emergence of «Comedy of Menace». The conflict between spiritual need and mind, feeling and obligation, emotion and responsibility ends in the victory of one of the two. Pinter, who prefers to write his life as it is, argues more about its contradictions and meaninglessness. Dreams, nightmares, numbers play an important role in expressing the main idea. Obedience, or struggle, or at least disagreement with another, is determined by the dialogue of the characters. The desire to defend oneself from oppression by staying away from others is still a sign of imperfection of the state system and the existence of violence in society. As Pinter’s and Elchin’s process of works couldn’t be imagined in any frame of literary movements is so actual and relevant today. Like Harold Pinter, the problem of man and society, the issue of interaction of human with society also concerns Firooz Mustafa.
