Özet: Regional development is considered a mechanism to reach the optimal distribution of resources and activities, and a framework for developing an alternative strategy for socio-economic development. It also aims to reduce economic disparities and spatial imbalances between regions. However, the Corona pandemic that struck Morocco in March 2020 has had several repercussions on the region. The intervention focuses on the importance of economic projects, and the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, which contributed to the deterioration of the economic situation in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
