Özet: One of the most important effects of neoliberal policies implemented since the 1980s is seen in traditional neighborhoods. Nowadays, the secure structure of the traditional neighborhood based on neighborhood relations has been replaced by gated community. While the neighborhood was the first place where people socialized outside of their families, today people living in high- walled gated communities see the house and the neighborhood as places that only meet their need for shelter, without establishing social relations with each other. In this study, by revealing the transformation from the traditional neighbourhood, which corresponds to the concepts of neighbourliness, solidarity, solidarity, sincerity and security, to dull and cold neighbourhoods where human relations are minimal or even zero, together with their reasons we examine the reflections of this situation on television series that mirror the change in social structure as a sociological data source. The series that we examined in this study were not subjected to an in-depth analysis, but an attempt was made to reveal the traditional neighborhood life they reflect during the period they were broadcasted.
