The effect of customer incivility on job involvement in accommodation businesses: The case of Cappadocia

Özet: This study was carried out in order to determine the relationship between the customer incivility behaviors towards the employees and the job involvement of the employees and the effect of the customer incivility behaviors on the employee's job involvement in the hotels. The research population is comprised of hotels employees operating in Core Cappadocia. In the study, the data were collected from 159 employees using the convenience sampling method with the survey technique and all of the collected surveys were analyzed. The descriptive, factor, reliability, regression and correlation analyzes were used in the study. Two hypotheses have been developed within the scope of the study. The developed hypotheses were rejected and according to the results obtained, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between customer incivility and job involvement and that customer incivility had no effect on job involvement
