Özet: Patients with thoracic trauma should be evaluated as multidisciplinary because of the accompanying traumas. Cranial traumas, abdominal trauma and spinal fractures are most frequently accompanied to thoracic trauma. Overall mortality is reported as 9% in thoracic trauma. If there is a system injury, this ratio is 13-15% and 30- 35% in case of more system injury. In this study, we evaluated that the effects of accompanied traumas on mortality morbidity in thoracic trauma patients with literature and clinical experience.
