Özet: Probiotics are generally prescribed as an adjuvant in the treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile and are considered a safe preparation. Recently, however, there have been reports in the literature about fungemia that develop after probiotic treatment, especially in immunosuppressive patients. In this article, we aimed to present a patient who received chemotherapy for gastric cancer, developed fungemia after Saccharomyces boulardii probiotic treatment and required intensive care.
