Özet: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) which its main symptom are inattention, hyperactivity and impulsive, is one of the most debatable disorders in childhood and adolescence years and 50 percent of (ADHD) children also revel significant symptoms of this disorder in their adolescence and adulthood times (Barkley?1998,2003) This study aimed to compare the activity of brain/behavioural system in adults with (ADHD) and normal people on the basis of J.A.Gray personality theory. The present research is a cross-sectional study. Which is conducted on the basis of available sampling method on 30 female (ADHD) students according to Conner's Adult (ADHD) Rating Scale and 30 normal female students who selected on the basis of age and educational level variables the both groups were matched. Two groups completed Gray –Wilson personality questionnaire (GWPQ) and both groups mean for considered variables were reviewed for comparison of two independent groups by using T-Test. The present research results show more activities of behavioural activity system (BAS) and low activities of behavioural inhibition system (BIS) in (ADHD) group. There was not any significant difference in fight / flight system (FFS) between both groups. The results of the present study conform to original hypothesis of J.A. Gray’s Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory (RST; Gray, 1990) and Barkley’s behavioural inhibition pattern (Barkley ?1997)
