Özet: This study aims to investigate the relationship between personality trait (conscientiousness) and workplace deviant behaviour (WDB).  Relationship between gender and marital status with workplace deviance behaviour were also examined. Workplace deviant behaviour, under its many labels and conceptualizations (counterproductive workplace behaviour, retaliatory behaviour, anti-citizenship behaviour) has become a major topic of research in the management and industrial organizational psychology literature. Data were collected from 162 subjects who were working as civil servants in Malaysia using a set of questionnaires that measure the variables studied. All participants in this study were selected randomly from employees of a public organization in Malaysia. Results show a negative relationship between conscientiousness and workplace deviant behaviour. This study could not found significant relationship between gender and marital status with workplace deviance behaviour.  Implications for future research are discussed.
