Özet: Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of play therapy on increase self-control on Children with attention deficit disorder. Method: Present research method of Semi experimental With Designed pre-test, post-test control group was. A sample consisting of 20 elementary school girls between 8-12 year who  given the scale  (csi-4)of the resort with attention deficit , lack of self-control were selected and randomly divided into control and experimental group. The experimental group underwent 10 sessions of “play therapy” as the independent factor, and the control group received no intervention. Upon the completion of intervention, both groups were tested to determine the effect of the independent factor on the dependent lack of self-control”. The data using statistical test (MANCOVA) were analyzed. Results: Results: significantly Play therapy increased self-control in post- test (p<0/001). Play therapy in two subscales of self-control (impulsivity and self-control individually) was affected. But in impulsivity subscales – self control had no effect. Conclusions: These results suggest that play therapy problems associated with attention deficit disorder has been successful.
