The relationship of Youngs Primary inconsistent schemas on attachment styles

Özet: The aim of this study was to check the relationship between Young's primary inconsistent schemas and attachment styles. The sample consisted of 170 male and female single students (80 Boys and 90 Girls).In order to collect information two questionnaires were used, Young's Primary Inconsistent Schemas Scale and Attachment Styles Scale. The results showed that there are significant relationship between Young's primary inconsistent schemas and subscales of the attachment scale (p<0.05). In general, findings indicate that primary inconsistent schemas are correlated variables with attachment styles.
