Özet: Multiple evaluation of the academic activity constitutes a premise for the academic staffs’ management improvement in the higher educational system. The present study proposes a content analysis of the evaluation process regarding the professional performances of the CMU’s academic staff and establishing a set of measures which will make these answers to constitute a premise for the university’s staff career management. We are proposing an observation guide applicable in the peer evaluation of the professors within the department and a set of rules in order to avoid the standard errors/risks that influence the evaluation process. Furthermore, we are measuring the input-output activity rapport of the Constanta Maritime University’s staff, demonstrating that high inputs can be obtained only by differentiating the outputs.
