Özet: This study investigated teachers’ perceptions of competence towards lifelong learning. Lifelong learning competence scale was administered to 87 4th and 5th classes’ teachers teaching in the primary schools which are in Nicosia in order to find out their perceptions of competence regarding lifelong learning. 52% of the participants were female, and 44.8 % of them were male. The finding showed that teachers’ genders and education levels are of paramount importance in their lifelong learning process.
