Özet: The paper presents the results of a pilot study on teacher’s work with Roma children. The goal of the study was to examine the relation between a teacher’s expertise and his/her style of teaching Roma pupils. The teaching styles of the teachers qualified to teach Roma children were compared and contrasted with those of the teachers lacking such expertise. The style of teaching was identified through measuring the indices of strictness, motivation and cognitive development of teachers with regard to Roma children.
