Özet: The paper in general describes the results of research that has focused on the possibilities of e-learning system Moodle for learning using mobile devices such as tablet and mobile phone (m-learning). The research was carried at Faculty of Education in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Science, University of Hradec Kralove. Separate virtual server with a modified e-learning system Moodle version 2.3 was created for research purposes. The use of different types of mobile devices to access the Internet applications is among the students not only distance form of study but also in form of full-time study more and more popular. The paper presents the way of editing the e-learning materials to be applicable even if the user accesses them through a mobile device connected to the Internet. The paper also shows the results of the research investigation mapping the situation of the use of mobile technologies in the Czech Republic in general.
