Özet: Without a reliable and solid Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, it would be impossible to realize major events such as olympics or continental games. Having millions of spectators and a significant attention, the IT infrastructure must possess special properties in order to ensure a flawless operation. This article provides an insight into the Timing, Scoring and On-Venue Result System, and evaluates its properties, that has been brought and operated by Atos in the Mersin 17th Mediterranean Games, held between 20-30 June 2013.
