Özet: Dear Readers It is honour to welcome you to the December, 2011 first issue of the Contemporary Educational Researches Journal (CERJ). We are grateful to the researchers for their valuable submissions and the readers showing interest to our journal. This is an international journal which will be published two times a year. The articles have been reviewed very sensitively in as short time with a great team of the International Editorial Board. This is an online journal that aims to guide researchers, academics, teachers, students and the parents in the field of education. Considering the needs of global education and the changes in the field of science, our fundamental principles are contemporary science, validity and innovation. The first issue of Contemporary Educational Researches Journal (CERJ) includes studies about students’ performance, principals from different countries, thinking styles of students, and the role of quality education. We would like to acknowledge that our next issues will consist of valuable studies with different subjects in the field of contemporary education.
