Özet: Objective: The effect of “Music training” on reorganization of brain's neuronal circuits and poor intellectual abilities in female students with dyscalculia (7-9 years old) is examined in present study.  Research population was all elementary school students, grades 2 and 3 ages between 7-9 years of Tehran education department, central regions. Sample included 13 female students with dyscalculia who were randomly selected and subjected to diagnostic tests (including DSM diagnostic check list, K- Math Test, Wechsler Intelligence Test, Brain Mapping (BM) and numerical memory. Method: Research method was an experimental pre- post. This group was trained for 16 sessions. Tests were repeated after trainings were conducted. Result: The results indicated that music training caused to change bioelectric activities in different regions of the brain, especially parietal and frontal lobes. Conclusion: Music training increased verbal IQ, non-verbal, general IQ, attention rate, and numerical memory scores as well as ACID profile scores.
