Özet: Image registration is an important application in image processing which is used to adjust the images obtained from various imaging modes. Set of methods presented in this field indicated a variety of approaches to regulate and eliminate distortions caused by different imaging modes. Extent categories of image registration and large volume of images and approaches has made difficult evaluation and comparison of these methods. Accordingly, in this paper, four basic components of image registration process are introduced and a framework based on various imaging techniques is suggested to analyze each image registration approaches. Using the proposed framework in this paper for image registration approaches, could have been an effective role in analyzing and evaluating image registration different methods in different functional fields and will detect challenges and problems in image registration process.
