Özet: Information Technology (IT) adoption is emerging in healthcare like all other industries. One of the major issues in technology adoption is the user acceptance. It is very important that the users of the system are comfortable. This study aims to explore the critical factors from users’ side that can inhibit and enhance the IT adoption before the design phase. The study mainly focuses on users rather than the technology itself. Exploring users’ perception about the new technology and its foreseen outcomes before the design phase will ease the adoption and diffusion of IT. And also this study aims to presume healthcare staffs’ utilization of IT. Based on literature review backed up by interviews with the staff of a healthcare institution which has not adopted any IT, users’ perception of expected outcomes with their reasons and consequences are determined and structured
