Özet:   Social networks are getting to take larger place in our life. Today we could not think about a network without agree that it is also place for education.  In this research, Istanbul University Social Network (PANO)was implemented as a system to increase communication and enhance relationship between academic staff and students In the system, the students and academic staff are able to access and follow announcements and shared materials.  PANO classifies and groups the students according to their subject area and level. There are facilities for private or instant messaging and a private room option for material sharing. Unlike commonly used social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter; the system provides a special bulletin board for sharing individual or group notes, announcements, information and group based materials. Thus, PANO makes accessible “Student–Academic Staff Interaction” any time of the day and increases social, scientific and cultural relationships of students outside of the class.
