Özet: Nowadays, Computers and in particular information and communications technology (ICT) play a significant role in second language acquisition. There has been a growing interest in designing software and examining the effect of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) on enhancing different skills of SLA, namely listening, speaking, writing, and reading. But there is a gap in SLA literature regarding the attitudes of EFL teachers and learners towards applying new technologies in classes, in particular their beliefs and the obstacles they might face using ICT in EFL classes. The present study is designed to explore the EFL teachers’ attitude towards applying ICT, in particular CALL, the present obstacles in using technology in EFL setting, factors affecting the use of computers as an aid to teaching, and the future perspectives with respect to integrating ICT in EFL classrooms. The findings and implications of the study are discussed in detail.
