Özet:   This study analyzes acceptance and use of information technologies among the academicians by using the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM2). The findings in this paper indicate that, job relevance and output quality has significant positive direct effects on perceived usefulness and subjective norm, image, result demonstrability had no significant effects on perceived usefulness. Furthermore, PEU has significant positive direct effects on perceived usefulness and both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has significant positive direct effects on intention to use. Suggestions that shed light into the universities and next studies has been provided as a result of the study findings.
