Özet:   The purpose of this study is development, implementation and evaluation of an online multimedia learning environment for blended learning in consideration of instructional design, multimedia learning principles and blended learning approach. Therefore, the literature about instructional design models, multimedia learning principles and blended learning approach is examined. As a result of the literature search, online learning environment features are determined. With the completion of the preparations, the online multimedia learning environment is developed by the researchers. Then, six week experimental implementation process is started. The study is conducted with 22 (10 male and 12 female) undergraduate students in Turkey. At the end of the implementation process, students’ perceptions and views concerning the blended learning approach and online multimedia learning environment are investigated. It is observed that the perception scores of the students towards the blended learning approach and its implementation process are high. Also views of them about online multimedia learning environment are usually positive. According to findings, online multimedia learning environment is evaluated and discussed with relevant literature.
