Development of a Moodle distance education system for Cukurova University Department of Computer Engineering and applying a survey for measuring needs and effectiveness

Özet: Distance Education is a form of education, in which students, teachers and teaching materials in different geographies are brought together through communication technology. Moodle, which is an open source learning management system, is the most widely used among Web-Based Distance Education Models. In our study, Moodle is selected as our distance education system, and we explain how to use our distance education site developed for Çukurova University, Faculty of Engineering - Architecture, Department of Computer Engineering, step by step. Then, we present the results of a survey, which is applied to our students, to measure the effectiveness of this system, and the needs of students.
