Özet: In this paper we present a model that, unlike previous studies, is based on autonomic computing concepts defined by IBM. DARPA Layered architecture for VANETS is the basis of our proposed model. This architecture is modified so that autonomicity is enabled for the two bottom layers using an abstract model replacement. This abstract model will encapsulate the details of network and autonomic layers. The applicability of this model is discussed in an example scenario. This scenario is then simulated for further evaluation. Simulation result shows that the proposed holistic model for enabling automaticity in VANETs is applicable in different situations.
