Özet:   Improvements in information technologies bring out not only advantages like entertainment, accessing information but also security risks and threats. With spreading of internet connection opportunities and preferring wireless technologies increases illegal intrusions. Internet connection of individual users is open to attacks that results in critical security problems in wireless broadcasting. Although there are various encryption techniques and security mechanisms users face problems because of their unconsciousness of sharing connections with third part of people and legal responsibilities. Unconscious users can be primary target of intrusions because of not having adequate information about security precautions and not being informed. In the questionnaire internet users’ knowledge about legal responsibility is measured and their precautions are examined. It is also examined that whether users are informed about their wireless modems or not.
